310 Bison Ranch Work Day

My Bucket List Granted by Steve Unger  What a great day.  I learned so much and shared in all the excitement and privilege of being close to Bison.  There are people who are great and share the joy of this world.  Steve Unger is the most amazing human.  He gently showed students how to move the Bison through the chutes.   The  treatment  allows the Bison to stay healthy.  Steve's direction allowed the students to experience each step of treating the Bison.   They attempted to keep the time for each one in the head gate(where they were treated) to 2 minutes per Bison.  Never have I witnessed so much intelligence,  concern and success in managing  the coordination of an awesome crew & team.   When problems arose there was no escalation in temperament and each problem was addressed.  A cow reached a dangerous stress level.  As she fell to the ground the hearts of each and every person there went out to her.  After patience, hope and direction to let her have her space, she got up and joined the herd.   THANK YOU MR. STEVE UNGER FOR FULFILLING THE WISH OF A LIFETIME.
